You will get the benefit of the second opinion report from a radiologist specialist with the added value of meeting the radiologist who interpreted your exam. During your video consultation, they will show you your abnormal findings firsthand. Using a lung nodule as an example, our doctors can show you exactly why the lung nodule is worrisome, such as the size, density, margin, and composition.
During your consultation, we will answer 3 questions for you. This will also give you the opportunity to learn what the follow-up interval and exam type would be best to evaluate your diagnosis further. We want you to be able to take your second opinion report and the knowledge you have gained during your consultation back to your primary doctor so that you can make an informed decision about what needs to come next in your path to health.
You can choose which type of Radiologist specialist you want to review your exam.
Specialties include Neuroradiology (brain and spine), Orthopedic radiology (muscles and bones), Body imaging radiology (abdomen and pelvis), Pediatric radiology, Thoracic radiology (chest and heart), and Mammography.
You can ask up to 3 questions of the Radiologist consultant doctor during the video call. The questions should be submitted prior to scheduling the video consultation.
The video consultation will last 10 minutes.
You will schedule your Video consultation through the calendar with the Radiologist who interprets your exam.
Your second opinion printable report will be available through your Patient health portal for review by you prior to performing the video doctor consultation.
